Should I ask more? What do you figure fair price is for something like this?

Depends where you are and how fast you wanna sell. It looks really clean for its age and its not crazy high mileage (especially given its age). I think it would sell pretty easily for 2000 or so. Its all profit though, so anything is a win, right? :)

Your write ups on this series have been really fun to follow too, just FYI.

Thanks you. I listed it for $1700 OBO and we will see where it goes.

There will be more write ups on what ever will replace this I promise.

You sell it just *before* I potentially move to Edmonton? Oh you mean!

Just make sure nobody finds out it was free, or they will bullshit you with horrible offers. :)

When are you moving? I'm in no big panic to sell. I'd rather it go to someone here if I can help it.

Meh I'll just say no. I'm not planning on omitting any info. I'll just say if someone gives you a million dollar ferrari are you gonna sell it for 5 grand? Of course not you will sell it for what it's worth.

I left myself a bit of wiggle room but $1500.00 will be my firm number. if they don't like it they don't have to buy it.

I've always liked these. It would make a great rally car.

I was mostly being sarcastic. Unfortunately although your car is "cool" my plans to move out aren't firmed up yet and then when (if) I do I have a few things to take care of before car buying. I am hoping to buy *something* around next october or so. All that to say, don't wait for me, go ahead and sell it!

I'll offer 565 - I understand your time is valuable!

But with new tires and if it is in good running condition, list it for more than 1500

You may make your money back by replacing the idle air control valve. I think they were < $100 when I was looking for a Bosch one for my fiat. If you fix that, you are selling a completely restored car instead of one with a problem. Talking about the thermostat may scare some people away. It depends who you are trying to sell to. Do you want someone who wants a cheap car to get it or a car guy who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty?

good advice! I might have to get an idle control valve and change the thermostat and call it perfect. then maybe $2000? I don't know these cars are only worth so much I don't want to over ask for it but I don't want to get short changed either.

Kinja'd!!!

If you need to haul wood, get a trailer and a tow hook, like the pictured slightly newer 323.

but that cost money I don't have. If I can sell this and use the money from this to get something else its a much better idea for me.

That's the thing though.

"Oh, you got it for free. You shouldn't have a problem with $300."
